LA's Skid Row Gets Christmas Cheer From Local Charity
LOS ANGELES, CA, (NAMC) - Here is some good holiday news that may put scrooges in good spirits. In Los Angeles, California the Skid Row Charity Fund headed by Father Maurice Chase will be giving out $15,000 in dollar bills to the poor and homeless that reside on LA's Skid Row.

This is scheduled to take place on Christmas Day at 10am in front of the Fred Johnson Mission at 5th and Towne Street.

Skid Row Ministry did state that mothers and children will receive larger amounts as they have set aside $100 bills that would go to only the ones that need it most.

This is an organization that is supported by some big names such as Mrs. Bob Hope, Mrs. Frank Sinatra, Bob Newhart, Eli Broad, Mrs. Henry Mancini, Georgia Frontiere, Vin Scully and many others.

For more information Father Maurice Chase of the Skid Row Charity Fund can be contacted at (310)839-0023. He is mostly available in the mornings.
