 CHICAGO, IL, (NAMC) – The worlds largest manufacturer of industrial batteries, EnerSys (NYSE: ENS) has acquired a controlling interest in the Westerly, Rhode Island based Modular Energy Devices or ModEnergy.. ModEnergyis a developmental company that produces large format lithium-ion rechargeable batteries utilized in aerospace and defense applications as well as specialized standby power and commercial applications.
