NEW YORK, NY, (NAMC) – Leading telecommunications company Sprint Nextel Corp. (NYSE:S) has completed the acquisition of the Woodbridge, New Jersey based Velocita Wireless.

Sprint Nextel plans on Velocita Wireless operating as a subsidiary of the company while Sprint Nextel uses some of Velocita’s 900 MHz to supplement the coverage of their iDEN network.

Velocita customers will now have access to Sprints full spectrum of products from wireless to data.
