Childhaven Announces Shamrock Box Lunch for Greater Seattle St. Patrick's Day, March 17
SEATTLE, WA, (NAMC) - Childhaven, the only non-profit in King County providing daily therapeutic child care for abused, neglected and at-risk infants and preschool children, announced its 19th Annual Shamrock Box Lunch for greater Seattle, in partnership with D.A. Davidson & Co., KJR FM and Gretchen's Shoebox Express. Seattle area businesses and organizations can order delicious, fresh box lunches before March 14 for delivery on St. Patrick's Day while raising money for the region's only therapeutic child care program.

"The Shamrock Box Lunch Campaign is our biggest event for volunteer and staff participation as well as its ability to reach the broadest number of supporters. Last year, we packed and delivered over 6,000 lunches with the help of 175 dedicated community members and staff. Because of our new sponsor this year, D.A. Davidson & Co., we are expecting to raise more than last year's $50,000 in net proceeds," said Jon Flora, Childhaven CEO.

To order lunches

Lunches are $14 each and include a choice of sandwich or salad, Tim's Cascade Chips, bottled water, an apple and a shamrock cookie. A minimum of 10 orders is required per delivery. Childhaven staff members and volunteers will deliver lunches between 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on March 17.

Orders can be made online via our website www.childhaven.org.

Orders must be made by March 14.
