Trans World Entertainment Acquires Musicland Assets
 CHICAGO, IL, (NAMC) – One of the leading entertainment products retailers, Trans World Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ: TWMC) has officially completed the acquisitions of a great portion of the assets of the bankrupt Musiclan Holdings Corp. This would bring such assets as Sam Goody, Suncoast Motion Picture Company, OnCue and MediaPlay.com under the Trans World Entertainment umbrella. The terms of the deal consisted of Trans World paying approximately $104.2 million in cash and $18.1 million in assumed liabilities. Trans World Entertainment closed at $5.85
