Non-Profit Organization Uses Horses To Help Patients
(NAMC) - Pennsylvania non-profit, Horse Power For Life, which is a newly founded non-profit organization, actually utilizes the natural healing power of horses, a well-documented therapeutic resource that is used to treat the emotional and physical side effects of long-term illnesses

Horse Power For Life’s horsemanship program, held at the Warwick Hill Stables in Elverson, is 16 weeks initially, with the opportunity to volunteer and remain a part of the organization indefinitely. Program director and co-founder of the organization, Barbara Rosoff, brings 30 years of equestrian experience and a lifetime of passion to each of her 90-minute lessons. Rosoff says, “Horses are my greatest joy and Horse Power for Life is my chance to share that joy with people fighting cancer.” Her weekly lessons can be customized for each student depending on their level of comfort, horse knowledge, and physical abilities.
